Lower your blood pressure with the DASH diet

Delicious and easy to follow, the DASH diet is a great way to get your blood pressure in line.

The DASH diet is not a business. It’s a public health service. It was developed by the DASH (Dietary Approaches to Stop Hypertension) Collaborative Research Group, chaired by Thomas J. Moore, M.D. The DASH diet is clinically proven to lower blood pressure levels, thereby reducing the risk of heart failure, stroke and kidney disease.

The hypertension prevention and treatment guidelines (JNC 7) from the National Institutes of Health recommend the DASH diet for the 65 million Americans who are hypertensive and the 70 million others in the new prehypertensive category.1,2
